Building resilient communities through conveying basic troubleshooting skills and celebrating repair, Fixit Clinics are do-it-together hands-on fix-n-learn community-based exploration and discovery wo rkshops staffed by volunteer Fixit Coaches who generously share their time, tools and expertise to consult with you on the disassembly, troubleshooting, and repair of items.

Please bring your broken, non-functioning things -- electronic gadgets, small appliances, computers, toys, sewing machines, bicycles, fabric items, etc.-- for assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. Fixit Coaches (and helpful neighbors) will be available for consultation on broken items: we'll provide workspace, specialty tools, and guidance to help you disassemble and troubleshoot your item.

The FV Fit Body Bootcamp 5K Fun Run Presented by NATHAN has been postponed due to an incoming expected large rain event. The run will now be held on Sunday, March 31st. at 8 am. This fun run is organi zed by the Fountain Valley Community Foundation in conjunction with the Recreation and Community Services Department of the City of Fountain Valley to raise funds for non-profit organizations serving Fountain Valley residents. In fact, $22 from each adult registration and $12 of each youth registration (12 and under) will be donated back to the charity of your choice.
The event will include pre-race activities (vendor and sponsor booths, picture booths, opening ceremony, and pre-race warmup led by Fit Body Bootcamp).
